Echague Banchetto- the newest attraction and rendezvous for locals and tourists in the Municipality of Echague, Province of Isabela. It highlights local cuisine and culture of Echague. Despite the occurrence of food parks and banchettos in North Luzon, Echague Banchetto is more than just a food park and stands out from the rest because of its structural design and what it features.
In this Banchetto, people will be ensured to be seating comfortably in picnic tables. Unlike other food parks, this Banchetto ensures the safety of its visitors since it is in the premises of the Municipal Hall where police and security units are always on-duty. Food tenants ensure the highest standard of presentation on both the food and the staff. Also, a designated comfort rooms are part of the architectural design.
Echague’s Banchetto resembles huge terraces which accommodates more than a hundred of picnic tables that can seat more than a thousand people. Aside from the architecture, Echague Banchetto features authentic Echague cuisine, local and international cuisine while enjoying Acoustic Nights, Poetry Nights and Movie Nights in a lit semi-permanent decorated stage.Echague Isabela
The Echague Banchetto is a two year-old food and culture hub. It was launched in 2016 when it also celebrated the first Mengal Festival, which hosted Miss Earth Talent Night Competition. The origin of the Banchetto is an Italian word that literary means banquet or feast.
Echague’s Banchetto concept was brought about to Mayor Francis Faustino “Kiko” Dy by the Municipal Cultural and Tourism Officer Louie C. Simbi as part of the Echague Mengal Festival program. It was designed not only as a seating area for events but a permanent structure that will be an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to showcase local cuisine.Echague Isabela
